I have been slacking on the blog posts of late, I am not as motivated to post anything because I have no idea what to post about. I shop a lot so I might as well share with you the things I purchased within the last two months. So in my blog, be prepared to see a million posts of hauls. I am not sure if I shop to the point that it has become a problem but I only buy stuff when its on major discount. I never buy anything for full price, it feels so wrong to do so. No matter how much I love it, I would always wait until it is at the lowest price. Generally I buy stuff in the off season to get the best deals, such as buying sweaters when its spring because stores would be getting rid of them to put out the new merchandise. I do most of my shopping online because I never try on clothes in stores anyways. Plus I shop through Ebates and I usually get a certain percentage cash back so really I am saving more then I would buying at the store.
At Garage I got more stuff then is shown but they are going to be returned, I feel like the sizing at garage got bigger, a size s doesn't fit the same as I remembered. The sweater shown is an over-sized fit that I can wear with leggings and some tall boots for the fall! The two scarves are from Dynamite, which is like a grown up version of Garage. They have classic pieces appropriate for professional jobs. I am in love with the coral salmon color for the summer, I am on the lookout for a bag in this hue. The scarves were both around $5 since Ebates has 15% cash back for Dynamite.
I got a swimsuit at American eagle since they had additional 60% off of clearance items. Plus I was on the hunt for a swim suit since I have plans to go to the Water park this summer. I really like the colors and pattern of the top, it also matches well with the basic bottoms. The top was $8 and the bottoms were around $6. Now I just need to workout at the gym to get in shape, haha. I always wanted a pair of combat boots since they were all the rage last year. I found a pair while browsing American eagle online, they were $25 if I can remember correctly, or it might have been less. The crochet details look even better in person, I know I'll get my wear out of them. The only thing that sucks about shopping online at American eagle is you have to pay duties.
So I got a gym membership in May so I am super motivated to workout but I needed some workout clothes so I can look cute while sweating it out. Old Navy had a really good sale on active wear, I picked up a pair of shorts for $6 and both the yoga legging/capris for $12. The sports bra was $10, I like the material of it since its thick but breathable. I haven't worn any of these to the gym yet because I haven't washed them yet.
The frugal side of me is that I always go to the clearance section, Old Navy had some major discounts on sweaters so I had to grab a few before they sell out. The navy rope inspired sweater was cheaper then the price on the tag, it was $1.50. The Ahoy sweater was a good price too at around $4, the mint colored sweater and the beige one were both $7. I love Old Navy for basic pieces that I can dress up with accessories for the fall time. The sweaters are light weighted enough to wear in the summer night weather when it gets chilly too.
I also wanted to share some random pieces I bought from some Asian website similar to Ebay. I can't remember the price of the items but I know the dresses were around $11 or $12. The Minnie mouse and Hello Kitty shirts were like $5 each. I plan to wear them to work out in since the sleeves almost resemble a muscle tee.
Look forward to another haul post next week since I just placed an order for Garage/Dynamite because they have such good deals for Canada Day.
